Entrance Exams India

ISAT entrance exams were held on 16th April 2010 in India at around 30 centres for the admissions in Undergraduate Programmes like B.Tech at IIST for the year 2010.

Today, IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) has announced results for ISAT 2010 at 11am. The ISAT 2010 exam result and rank list has been posted on the IIST site. Students can get their results by registering their email address and password sent to them by IIST.

Prestigious engineering entrance examination of India, IIT JEE, will declare result tomorrow on 26 May 2010. This IIT JEE entrance exam is organized and conducted by the association of IITs – the Indian Institutes of Technology. JEE is basically the entry path to the most reputed and well known engineering colleges in India. Every year Lakhs of the students appear every year in IIT JEE exam but only thousands of them clear it.

This year exam was done on April 11 and more then 4.72 lakhs students appeared for it. Around 10,000 seats are available in JEE this year. OBC quota is also integrated in it. The results of JEE 2010 is coming on 26th May, and will be available on websites of IITs.

Eligibility for MBBS and BDS Program:

Pass in 10 + 2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as subjects with minimum aggregate of 50%. For SC/ST/OBC candidates the minimum aggregate mark is 40%.

Age Limit:

Have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31.12.2010.

Selection process:

Selection will be made on merit, and marks secured in Entrance Examination. College will be allotted to the selected students through counseling system.
