Set up in 1986, NIFT is the pioneering institute of fashion education in the country and has been in the vanguard of providing the professional human resource to the textile and apparel industry. It was made a statutory institute in 2006 by an Act of the Indian Parliament with the President of India as ‘Visitor’ and has full-fledged campuses all across the country. Over the years NIFT has also been working as a knowledge service provider to the Union and State governments in the area of design development and positioning of handlooms and handicrafts. Design programmes on the basis of which aspirants can secure admission at NIFT are – Bachelor of Design (BDes), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech), Master of Design (MDes), Master of Fashion Management (MFM) and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech).

NIFT Entrance Exam 2019 Eligibility Criteria Candidates can check complete details about eligibility criteria of NIFT entrance exam 2019 below: Age Requirement:  Applicants are required to be of 23 years as on October 1. Below we are providing the exam pattern of NIFT entrance exam 2019: Exam Mode: The examination will be conducted via pen and paper-based mode. The admit card of NIFT 2019 will be available in online mode from the second week of January onwards. Only those candidates can download the NIFT 2019 admit card who have submitted their application correctly before the last date. How to download NIFT admit card 2019 The admit card will be available in online mode only, and candidates have to log in to download it.
