All India Bar Examination ( AIBE ) –VIII Law Entrance Examination Details-2015

The purpose of The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is to examine an advocate's capability to practice the profession of law in India. AIBE had announced the VIII Law Entrance Examination for the present year-2015. The AIBE will assess skills at a basic level, and is intended to set a minimum benchmark for admission to the practice of law; it addresses a candidate’s analytical abilities and understanding basic knowledge of law. After passing the examination candidate will be awarded "Certificate of Practice" by the Bar Council of India. AIBE will be conducted in 40 cities all across India. Candidates will have eleven languages to choose for attempting the examination. Examination pattern will be multiple choice questions and it will be open book exam.

Last Date for Payment of challan for Online and Offline Application: 16th February, 2015

Last date for receipt of Application forms at BCI-Delhi: 18th February, 2015 (5 P.M)

Admit Card verification process for Online and Offline Application: 22nd February, 2015

Last date of correction of Admit Cards for both Applications: 24th February, 2015

Final online release of Admit Cards for Online and Offline application: 7th March, 2015

Date of Examination: 15th March 2015*

Eligibility Criteria:

The AIBE proposed to test an advocate’s skill to practice the profession of law in India.

The All India Bar Examination shall be mandatory for all law students graduating from the academic year 2015-2016.

Candidates may apply to appear for the All India Bar Examination 2015 only after enrolling as an advocate under Section 24 of the Advocate Act, 1961

Eligible Candidates will have to submit appropriate proof of the enrollment along with the application form for the All India Bar Examination.

Entrance Examination Syllabus:

AIBE Entrance Exam will be conducted for 100 Marks.

Application Procedure:

Eligible candidates apply through official website.

Click the Register here button from the official website.

Fill Registration Form on website, upload your documents and after completion press ‘Save Button’ on last page.

After that Registration Number & Password is generated and shall be send to your mobile & e- mail ID.

Put your Enrollment number with State Code as per your Enrollment Certificate.

After submission, check your email ID for registration number & password

Click the Login Here button from the official website

Take a print out of your application form using Registration number & password

Application fee will be paid by any branch of SBI to make payment with the printed copy of challan.

Application Fee: Rs. 2500 and Rs. 60 as bank transaction charge

Mode of payment should be SBI Bank Challan only

No other mode of payment could be acceptable.

Upload your challan and enter the journal number, branch code & date of challan from your challan copy.

After submitting the form Check your details, photograph & signature on the application form. If there is any error or incomplete form, kindly contact on the helpline numbers as we given here

Do not send the hard copy of application form or other documents in Bar Council of India.
