Undergraduate / Postgraduate Entrance Test ( UGET / PGET ) 2013

Dr Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar will conduct Undergraduate and Postgraduate Entrance Tests (  UGET / PGET ) in the last week of May, 2013 for admission to various UG and PG level courses / programme for the academic session 2013 - 14

Admissions will be given according to merit in UGET and PGET, subject to verification of eligibility in the particular course for which the candidate has applied and appeared in the entrance test

UGET

B.A./B.Com/BBA/B.Sc/BCA/B.Pharm/B.A.-LL.B (Hon)/B.Ed Integrated (B.A.-B.Ed, B.Sc-B.Ed.)

Minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination (QE)

Candidates seeking admission to B.A./B.Com/BBA/B.Sc/BCA/B.Pharm/B.A.-LL.B (Hon)/B.Ed Integrated: General/OBC categories must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination securing at least 50% marks in aggregate in their qualifying examination or CGPA not less than 4.0 in 10 point grade scale (0-9) or equivalent marks in the qualifying examination, (SC/ST/PC categories must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination securing at least 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying examination)

B.A.-LL.B (Hon five years) Law Integrated Degree Course

An applicants should have successfully completed senior secondary school course (+2) or equivalent from a recognized institution/board of state /Govt of India or outside or equivalent

BCA: Students must have Mathematics at 10+2 level

LL.B (3 years)/BJC/B.Lib.I.Sc: Candidate seeking admission to LLB/BJC/B.Lib.I.Sc belonging to General/OBC categories must have passed his or her 10+2+3 or equivalent examination securing at least 50% marks in aggregate in qualifying examination, or CGPA not less than 4.0 in 10 point grade scale (0-9) or equivalent marks (SC/ST/PC categories must have passed 10+2+3 or equivalent examination securing at least 45% marks in aggregate, or CGPA not less than 4.0 in 10 point grade scale (0-9) or equivalent marks

PGET

M.Sc / M.Tech (Applied Geology) / M.Pharm / MCA / LL.M / M.A. / M.Com / MBA / MJC / M.Lib.I.Sc / M.Ed:Candidates seeking admission to any of the PG level courses and belong to General/OBC categories must have passed 10+2+3 or equivalent examination securing at least 50% or CGPA not less than 4.0 in 10 point grade scale (0-9) or equivalent marks in the qualifying examination

M.Tech (Appl Geology): Graduate under 10+2+3 pattern with Geology as one of the subjects securing an aggregate of 50% marks or CGPA not less than 4.0 in 10 point grade scale (0-9) or equivalent marks in the qualifying examination

Due to field work PC students will not be considered for admission

M. Pharm: Graduate in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) with 60% or 5.4 CGPA marks with valid GPAT qualified score

MCA: Recognized bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level

Candidate should have passed with at least 50% marks or CGPA not less than 4.0 in 10 point grade scale (0-9) or equivalent marks in the qualifying examination from any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or a foreign university recognized by Association of Indian University (AIU) or Institute recognized by concerned university as equivalent thereto

Students who have passed BCA examination through correspondence or distance mode shall not be considered

LLM: The candidate must have passed LL.B 3 years after graduation under 10+2+3 pattern or five years LLB under 10+2+5 pattern duly recognized by the Bar Council of India and securing a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in the LL.B degree

M. Ed: Graduate under 10+2+3 pattern plus B.Ed or B.Sc-B.Ed or B.A.-B.Ed (4 years Integrated course) securing a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in qualifying examination

Candidates appearing in the (10+2) final year of the qualifying examination may also apply and appear in the entrance test

However, to get admission the candidate is required to produce the original marksheet of the qualifying examination at the time of counseling for getting admission

Age

UGET: Candidates seeking admission to B.A./B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/B.Pharm/BCA/B.Sc-B.Ed/B.A.-B.Ed should not be more than 22 years. However, age relaxation of 5 years will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC categories

For BA-LLB (Hons) age should not be more than 20 years in case of general category of applicants and 22 years in case of applicants from SC/ST/PC

LL.B (3 years)/BJC/B.Lib.I.Sc maximum age limit shall be 30 years for all categories

PGET: Candidates seeking admission in M.A./M.Sc/M.Com/MBA/M.Pharm/M.Tech (Applied Geology)/ MCA should not be more than 27 years.

However, age relaxation of 5 years will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC categories

MJC/M.Lib.I.Sc/M.Ed/LL.M the maximum age limit will be 35 years for all categories

Admit Card: 

The candidate has to download his admit card on-line from www.dhsgsu.ac.in

Admit card shall not be sent by post

Application Form: 

On line applications can be submitted by the candidate on website www.dhsgsu.ac.in

The application fee is Rs. 600/- for General/OBC/PC candidates and Rs 300/- for SC/ST candidates

SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidate shall send their caste certificate along with the filled the application form

The candidate has to pay the admission fees via bank challan in the Power Jyoti Account Number-32000156472 (subhead-F) in any branch of State Bank of India throughout India

The journal number given by the SBI is to be filled in the application form (in the website, candidate has to click on challan, complete the entries, take the print out of the challan form and deposit the required fees)

Bank draft and cheques will not be accepted/entertained as entrance fee

Applicants will have to take the printout of the filled application form and then has to paste the recent photograph, just below the scanned photograph and put the signature at the provided box

The entrance fee once paid shall neither be refunded nor be transferred to another course and shall also not be reserved for any subsequent year in any case

Complete application form (two copies) in all respect along with the copy of Power Jyoti challan (university copy)should reach by registered/speed post to the Chairman, Admission Cell, Dr Harisingh Gour University, Sagar (Madhya Pradesh)-470003
