Kerala Private Medical College Management Association has decided to conduct an All India Entrance Test for Admission to Postgraduate Degree / Diploma courses in the management quota seats of its following member Medical Colleges in various disciplines for the academic year 2013-14

Applications are invited for the All India Entrance Test to be conducted for admission to the Management seats for Post Graduate Degree/Diploma courses available in the member Medical Colleges

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

Candidates must be citizens of India/children or dependents of Non-Resident Indians

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must meet all the requirements stipulated by MCI and Kerala University of Health Sciences for admission to Post Graduate Degree/Diploma medical courses

Pass in MBBS/equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India

Should have possessed recognized MBBS degree/equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the authority concerned in India

In the case of an Indian national with the recognized degree from any Foreign University, the Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary/permanent registration for the duration of the Post Graduate training restricted to the college/institution to which the applicant is admitted for the time being exclusively for Post Graduate studies

Temporary/Permanent registration to such candidates shall be subject to the condition that the degree is duly registered in the country where the degree is obtained and is recognized by the corresponding council or concerned authority in India also

Candidates completed their compulsory rotating resident internship (CRRI)

No condonation of internship (CRRI) will be accepted

The minimum percentage of marks for admission to postgraduate medical courses shall be 50% for candidates belonging to general category and 40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC

Selection Procedure:

Merit list of candidates qualified for admission to the Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma courses with reference to their qualifying examinations will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance test for admission to post graduate degree/diploma

Application Forms:

The application form and prospectus will be available in the Association’s Website and can be downloaded from the website www.kpmcma.net

The application forms are common for all candidates applying for the courses

Candidates seeking admission to the course can apply in the online application form provided in the website www.kpmcma.net of the Kerala Private Medical College Management Association

Application forms and the prospectus will not be available from the member Medical Colleges of the Association and from the Office of the Controller of Examination

The filled in application shall be submitted along with all the required certificates and a demand draft for a sum of Rs 1,000/- (Rs one thousand only) drawn in favour of the Kerala Private Medical College Management Association, payable at Calicut, to the Controller of Examination, Office of the Kerala Private Medical College Management Association, on or before

All certificates/documents to be produced for admission shall be attested by the gazetted officer/head of the institution where the student had studied; copy of SSLC or equivalent certificate in proof of date of birth; copy of mark list at the qualifying examination; copy of degree certificate/ provisional degree certificate of the qualifying examination; copy of registration certificate of the State Medical Council; copy of internship completion certificate; the candidates shall produce along with the application form an undertaking in stamp paper worth Rs 100/- signed by the candidate and the parent; copy of certificate proving the candidate’s minority status; any other document/ certificate required to be produced with the application
