Eligibility Criteria:

M.Sc (M.L.T) in Clinical Microbiology/Clinical Biochemistry:

B.Sc with Microbiology/ Bioscience/ Biochemistry/ Medical Laboratory Technology subject or DMLT from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University or any recognized university of the state of Gujarat

Those who are employed shall submit application along with the No Objection Certificate from the organization in which he/she is employed

Application will not be considered if the No Objection Certificate is not enclosed along with the application

Reservation: As per the rules and regulations of the Govt of Gujarat/Affiliated University

Admission Procedure:

Admission to these courses shall be as per the Rules and Regulations of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (as per the rules relating to the post graduate admissions u/s 42 of

South Gujarat University Act 1965)

Merit list will prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the B.Sc (final year) examination

Applicants who have passed the qualifying examination from the universities other than Veer Narmad South Gujarat University will have to appear in entrance examination

Marks obtained in the final year of B.Sc degree examination and marks obtained in the common entrance examination conducted by the Institution will be taken into consideration in the preparation of merit list

Tuition Fee:

The fees for total duration of course (4 terms) will be Rs 80,000/- (Rs eighty thousand only) as per the permission of competent authorities

The above fees shall be payable in 4 (four) equal installments of Rs 20,000/- (Rs twenty thousand only) per six months

First installment of tuition fee shall be paid at the time of admission and thereafter every six months; in the months of January and July only

Application Procedure:

The eligible candidate shall download application from website

Duly filled application form along with the attested copies of requisite certificates and documents shall be submitted on or before the due date of submission of forms to the office of the Dean, SMIMER, Umarwada, Surat

Demand draft of Rs 300/-in favour of Commissioner, Surat Municipal Corporation payable at Surat shall also be submitted along with the application form

Incomplete applications will not be accepted

The applicant shall have to produce the original certificates before Admission Committee at the time of admission

The original certificates will be returned after verification, if during scrutiny or any time there after any discrepancy or tampering of facts is noticed, the admission is liable to be cancelled

The candidate shall be expelled and criminal action shall be initiated against him

In such cases, the fees paid will not be refunded

Incorporation of changes/modifications from time to time including additions or deletions regarding rules/regulations as well as procedure regarding admission, preferences for merit list shall be under the purview of the competent authority of the Surat Municipal Corporation

Photocopies of documents to be attached with the application

Application will be considered only if the following photocopies attached are duly attested; School leaving certificate; Marks sheets of the qualifying examination; Attempt certificate; Character certificate from the previous institute; No objection certificate in case of applicants who are employed; Medical certificate of fitness as per requirement of the council; Caste certificate (issued by the competent authority of the Govt of Gujarat; In case of SEBC, Non-creamy layer certificate of current year Migration certificate, in case of applicants other than VNSGU; Self addressed stamped two envelopes
