The Indian Institute of Space and Technology (IIST) will conduct IIST B.Tech Admission 2018 on the basis of JEE Advanced 2018. The application form of IIST B.Tech 2018 will be released on June 6 in an online mode. The last date for filling and submission of application form has not been announced. Before filling the online form, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria of IIST B.Tech 2018. There are a total of 140 seats in the undergraduate engineering programmes and the dual degree that is being offered at IIST. Male candidates belonging to the general and OBC category will have to pay Rs 600 for the application form, while the female candidates for the same will have to pay Rs 300 for registering for IIST B.Tech Admission. Both male and female candidates belonging to SC, ST, PD will have to pay Rs 300 for IIST 2018 application form.

IIST B.Tech Admission 2018 Salient Features IIST, Thiruvananthapuram, conducts IIST B.Tech Admission 2018 for admission into undergraduate engineering programmes offered by the institute. Admission will be done based on the rank secured by the registered candidates in JEE Advanced 2018. The Eligibility Criteria prescribed by IIST must be fulfilled by each and every aspirant for admission. Candidates have to apply for admission by registering online and have to pay the requisite fee. The rank list for admission will be prepared by IIST on the basis of the rank list of JEE Advanced 2018. IISTExam Pattern

Exam Pattern of IIST 2018: The question paper of IIST 2018 will consists of 120 multiple choice questions and there are 3 sections in IIST 2018 on the subjects of physics, chemistry and mathematics. The exam of IIST 2018 is a pen/paper based so candidates are required to record their response in optical response sheet provided on the day of examination. The duration of the exam conducted by IIST for the desirous students will be 2 hours. Marking Schemes: Three marks will be provided to the students for each right answer. One mark will be deducted from the total marks scored in IIST Entrance Exam 2018 as the penalty for wrong response. If the candidate darken more than one circle in order to give response then, the response will be considered invalid and no marks will be provided for that.

IIST B.Tech 2018 Application Form: Candidates have to register their application in online mode only. All the required details in the online application form must be entered by the candidate. After completing the online registration, candidates have to download and print the challan and submit the registration fee to validate the application. Candidates can make the payment through State Bank of India (SBI) collect. After submitting the registration fee. IISTCounselling Procedure

IIST Counselling & Admission 2018 The admission in the UG and dual-degree programmes will be based on the JEE Main 2018 and JEE Advanced 2018. Only those candidates who clear the cut-off set by the IIST will be eligible for admission on the bases of the merit. Counseling will be started from the first week of July 2018(tentative). During the counseling, candidate will be called in the order of their IIST ranks.
