Guru Nanak Dev University was established at Amritsar on November 24,1969 to mark the 500th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It is both a residential and an affiliating university. In conceiving the future course of the University, the objectives enshrined in the Guru Nanak Dev University Act 1969, emphasised that the new University would make provision for imparting education and promoting research in the humanities, learned professions, sciences, especially of applied nature and technology.

GNDU CET PG Exam Pattern

Guru Nanak Dev University ( GNDU CET ) Law Entrance Examination  Pattern and syllabus  – 2014 There will be different set of examination for different programs. CET LAW / LLB / LLM Entrance Exam test paper consists of 300 objective questions with multiple options. The test paper is divided into four parts.  Part I - comprises of 50 questions from Mental Ability. Part II- comprises of 100 questions from General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Part III- comprises of 100 questions from Aptitude for Law. Part IV- comprises of 50 questions from General English. Duration of CET LAW / LLB / LLM Entrance Exam is three hours.
