Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test ( ILI CAT ) is  conducted by Indian Law Institute, New Delhi for admission to its LLM,Post Graduate Diploma Programmes,On-Line Certificate Courses program. The institute was established in 1956 and was inaugurated by the then President Dr. Rajendra Prasad in the presence of then Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru. The institute was given status of deemed university by University Grants Commission in 2004. Indian Law Institute ( ILI ) Law Entrance Examination Reservation of Seats – 2015 Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes             15 per cent seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and 7 ½ % seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes. Any unfilled seats reserved for Scheduled Castes will be treated as reserved for Scheduled Tribes and vice versa. A certificate to this effect shall be attached with the application form. Indian Law Institute ( ILI ) Law Entrance Examination Application Procedure - 2015 Application Fees : For LL.M. – One Year and Two Year Programme The payment of Rs 2,500/- ( Rupees two thousand five hundred) only may be made through the payment gateway and the proof of the payment ( copy of the Transaction ID ) may also be attached along with the application form. ( Please read guidelines mentioned in Clause 11 in this regard ). Indian Law Institute ( ILI ) Law Entrance Examination Scholarship Details - 2015 : Merit Scholarship The Institute offers scholarships of Rs 10,000/- per annum to the students admitted in ILI in order of merit of the Common Admission Test to the first two students admitted to LL.M. - 1 year and 2 year. The scholarship will be awarded after the 1st trimester / semester examination. The scholarship will continue till these students complete their studies provided they continue to secure minimum 55% marks in the 1st attempt of the university examinations and maintain the quality of research papers submitted by them during the course of study. Indian Law Institute ( ILI ) Law Entrance Examination Eligibility Criteria – 2015 For LL.M. - One / Two Year Programme : LL.B. Degree ( with not less than 50% marks ) from any University / Institution recognized by Bar Council of India as eligible for enrolment as an advocate in India. A Law Degree from a foreign country with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.
