The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences was established under the WBNUJS Act, 1999 (West Bengal Act IX of 1999) adopted by the West Bengal Legislature in July, 1999.The University was notified under Clause (f) of Section 2 of the UGC Act, 1956 in August 2004 and has been granted permanent affiliation by the Bar Council of India in July 2005.The Chief Justice of India is the Chancellor of NUJS and is also the Chairman of the General Council, the supreme policy-making body of the University. Professor Dr. P. Ishwara Bhat is the Vice Chancellor of the University.

West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences Entrance Exam – 2013  Application Form West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences - NUJS, one of the 12 national law universities, admits students to its BA/BSc LLB course on the basis of the Common Law Admission Test. It offers 5 year BA LLB and BSc LLB course to its candidates among other law courses. There are 125 seats in its BA/BSc LLB program. Admission The Requirements for admission to LL.M .program are as follows The candidate must have Completed a bachelor’s degree in Law(LLB)with a percentage of at least 55or an equivalent cumulative grade point average from any Indian University Recognized by UGC or any equivalent degree offered by a foreign University; Explanation: In case of degree by foreign University, the factor of equivalence would be decided by the CPGLS The candidate must have been allotted with a seat through the All India…

NUJS Application Fees

West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences Entrance Exam – 2013 Eligibility Eligibility  for BA/BSc LLB : Candidates who want to take admission should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved candidates). They should be under 20 years (22 for reserved category) as on July 1, 2013. Eligibility for LL.M : The admission for LLM will be based strictly on the performance in the Common Law Admission Test. However, to qualify for admission, the candidate must have secured LL.B. degree or its equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks in the aggregate. Candidates in the final year of their LL.B. course can also apply.
