The Army College of Dental Sciences in Secunderabad farm under the patronage of Army Welfare Education Society. This institute is affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (UHS), Vijayawada. A total of 40 seats is available in this college, out of which 6 reserves for the select candidates from the DR. NTR UHS while the remaining 34 seats allocates to the candidates selected via combined written admission test (C-WAT tentatively held during first week of May each year). ACDSEligibility Criteria

ACDS BDS 2017 Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must be at least 17 years of age, as on December 31st in the joining year. The candidate must be a dependent child of serving army personnel/eligible ex-army personnel/war widows. The ex-army personnel must have finished a continuous service of ten years before taking a discharge or release. If the candidate is an adopted child of the army personnel he/she is eligible if the adoption was carried out five years earlier to seeking admission into the college. The candidate must have passed the PCB subjects in the two-year intermediate course/BSc course/course equivalent from the Indian School Certificate/pre-professional course/pre-medical course/any other course which is equivalent to Intermediate science course covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology,  with a minimum aggregate of 50% in the first attempt.

Exam Pattern: Question type will be Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions. For each Correct Answer given by the Candidates shall fetch one mark. ACDSSelection Procedure

Selection Process: A merit list will be prepared according to the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test. Deserving candidates will be allotted seat in college.  The decision of ACDS management regarding the preparation of merit list will be final and no arbitration in this matter will be accepted by them. Call letter will be prepared those candidates who are eligible and qualified based on the correctness of certificates rendered by them. Actual admission into ACDS will be done only after physical verification of all the original documents at the time of Counselling. If any candidates submit false document their application will be direct canceled.

ACDS Result: The ACDS will send candidates the results of first 600 successful candidates to all Command Headquarters and to the Headquarters conducting admission test. Candidates have to check their results on time in appropriate Headquarters on 1st week of June. Candidates will be Successful personally informed by post. Late receipt or non-receipt of the results by post, for that college, will not take responsibility for it. The results will also be posted on college official portal (www.acds.co.in). Through online mode, candidate can download their results.

Counselling Procedure: Counselling for admission into Bachelor of Dental Surgery shall be held in July 2018. Counselling shall necessitate the Candidates to carry along with them the following documents in original for Document verification to the utmost satisfaction of the Army College of Dental Sciences Admission Committee: Proof of Age as it appears in the Mark sheet of SSC / Class 10 / Equivalent Examination. Certificate of passing the (10+2) Central Board of Secondary Education / Equivalent Qualifying Examination. Mark sheet of passing the (10+2) CBSE/equivalent qualifying examination. School/Institute leaving certificate (after qualifying in 10+2 equivalent examination). Proof of eligible category as per para 10 (Certificate as applicable). Certificates (As applicable from 1 to 8) PPO In original (for verification only) Migration Certificate. Photograph – Stamp Size – 08, Passport Size – 08. Medical Certificate in prescribed format at the time of counselling (Certificate -4).
