Eligibility Criteria:

(A) Post-Graduate Diploma Course - Associateship of National Sugar Institute in Sugar Technology (On merit basis of written entrance examination) 

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics or Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering 

Duration: Two and half academic years 

No. of Seats: 69 

(B) Post Graduate Diploma Course - Associateship of National Sugar Institute in Sugar Engineering (On merit basis of written entrance examination) 

Minimum Qualification: Engineering Degree in Mechanical/ Production/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/Electronics or AMIE (From Institutions of Engineers, India) 

Duration: One and half academic years 

No. of Seats: 28 

(C) Post Graduate Diploma Course in Industrial Fermentation & Alcohol Technology (On merit basis of written entrance examination) 

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. with Chemistry/Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biochemistry as one of subject or; B. Tech in Biotechnology 

Duration: One academic years followed by 4 months practical training in a distillery or brewery 

No. of Seats: 28 

(D) Post Graduate Diploma Sugarcane Productivity & Maturity Mgt. 

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. in Science/Agriculture 

Duration: one year 

No. of Seats: 18 

(E) Post Graduate Diploma in Industry Instrumentation & Process Automation 

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or AMIE (From the Institution of Engineers, India) in Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electrical & Electronics/Applied Electronics and Instrumentation 

Duration: one year 

No. of Seats: 15 

(F) Certificate Course in Sugar Fingering (On the basis of Personal Interview) 

Minimum Qualification: Diploma in engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation from a recognized Technical School/Polytechnic 

Duration: Two off- seasons (July- November) 

No. of Seats: 15 

(G) Certificate Course in Sugar Boiling: (On merit basis of written entrance examination) 

Minimum Qualification: Matriculate/High School with Science /Agriculture 

Duration: One off-season (July -November) followed by five months practical training from December to April in a Sugar factory 

No of Seats: 57 

(H) Certificate Course in Pre-Harvest Cane Maturity Survey: (On the basis of Personal Interview) 

Minimum Qualification: Intermediate with Science / Agriculture or equivalent 

Duration: One and half months (15th Oct to 30th Nov) 

No. of Seats: 18 

Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as on 31st July 2017 for all above courses
