The Staff Selection Commission has recently released a notification for filling 8300 vacancies in various multi tasking posts. The SSC will hold an exam in 2 stages to select suitable candidates for multi tasking staff. The 1st stage will be a common test for all candidates. On clearing the common test, you will have to appear for the 2nd stage of the exam – descriptive paper. If you get selected, you will be recruited to General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non – Gazetted, Non – Ministerial posts in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States/ Union Territories. Eligibility Age Limit and Relaxation (as on 01.08.2017) You must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 25 years. This means that you must not be born earlier than 02.08.1992 and not later than 01.08.1999. Note that your birth date should reflect in your matriculation/secondary exam certificate. Age relaxation applies as per the government norms. How to Apply You can apply in online mode only. Here are the steps that you can follow and apply directly from here: Open ssc.nic.in and click on ‘Apply’ and select Apply Link. Click on ‘Registration’ and Fill your details – name, date of birth (dd/mm/yy), father’s name and gender. Also fill the letters shown below the gender tab and enter. Fill the contact details and personal details very carefully in the next step. You will not be able to make any changes in your application after submitting it.
