As State Agency, University of Pune will conduct XXIII SET Examination at Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Nashik, Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Nanded, Amravati, Nagpur, Solapur, Chandrapur & Panaji (Goa) Centers on Sunday, 8th August, 2010 in the following subjects :

Marathi, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, History, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Defence and Strategic Studies, Home Science, Library and Information Science, Journalism and Mass Communication, Social Work, Public Administration, Mathematical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Earth Atmospheric Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Geography, Computer Science and Application, Electronic Sciences, Commerce, Law, Education and Physical Education.

Exam Date: Sunday, 8th August 2010.

Eligibility:

Open/ OBC/ SBC: 55% marks with master’s degree

SC/ST: 50% marks with master’s degree

Examination Fees: Rs. 400/- for SC / ST / DT / NT / SBC / OBC / VH / PH candidates

Rs. 500/-. For Open candidates and Examination fees should be paid by Demand Draft.

Eligibility for MBBS and BDS Program:

Pass in 10 + 2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as subjects with minimum aggregate of 50%. For SC/ST/OBC candidates the minimum aggregate mark is 40%.

Age Limit:

Have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31.12.2010.

Selection process:

Selection will be made on merit, and marks secured in Entrance Examination. College will be allotted to the selected students through counseling system.

Sending a DD of Rs. 1100/- in favor of “Vinayaka Missions University”, payable at Salem / Chennai with request letter providing full address and course name.
