Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College invites application for the Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses for the academic year 2013

Under Graduate Courses :

Post Graduate Courses :

Master of Commerce

Master of Science (Microbiology, Biotechnology)

Eligibility for Under Graduate Courses:

·         Girls and Boys who have passed Pre-University examination of Karnataka or any other equivalent examination, are eligible for admission  to degree course subject to such other conditions by Bangalore University form time to time.      

·         Eligibility for B.Com course is pass in commerce / accountancy at PUC level.

·         Candidates who have passed with any combination like Arts, Science or Commerce are eligible for B.A.

·         Candidates opting for B.Sc, PMCS or PME should have studied mathematics & Physics at PUC level.     

·         Candidates opting for B.Sc Microbiology / Biotechnology should have studied chemistry & Botany / Zoology / Biology at PUC level.

Eligibility for Post Graduate Courses:

Master of Commerce :

Eligibility - Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in commerce subjects of in their B. Com. / BBM Degree Examination of Bangalore University of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply. Student appearing for their Final Semester examinations can also apply.

Admission - Candidates who are selected for admission to the M. Com. Program must indicate their acceptance by paying the full fees. Otherwise it will be assumed that the candidate does not want to avail of the offer of add mission and the offer will stand cancelled.

Master of Science :

Eligibility - Graduate from any recognize University with 50% marks (45% for SC / ST) in all the three optionals individually and in aggregate. Chemistry / Biochemistry as a Compulsory optional subject required. The other two optionals required are any two from the following:-

·                 Microbiology

·                 Biotechnology

·                 Botany

·                 Applied Botany

·                 Zoology

·                 Applied Zoology

·                 Environmental Science

·                 Genetics

·                 Applied Genetics

·                 Sericulture

·                 Home Science

·                 Life Sciences

·                 Biological Sciences

Admission - Candidates who are selected for admission to the M. Sc. Program must indicate their acceptance by paying the full fees. Otherwise it will be assumed that the candidate does not want to avail of the offer of add mission and the offer will stand cancelled.

Admission Procedure :

List of selected candidates and the respective interview dates will be intimated on the college notice board or by post within a week of the submission of application by the candidates. Candidates will have to appear for an interview along with parents before the committee. once the interview date is given , the candidate should appear without fail before the committee on the scheduled date failing which he/she will not be considered for the award of a seat. He/She should appear with his/her original certificates and 4 stamps size photographs. Along with self addressed three registered postal envelopes with acknowledgement.

The following Certificates have to be produced :

·                 S S L C or equivalent marks card in original

·                 Transfer Certificate

·                 Eligibility Certificate

·                 Migration Certificate

·                 Income declaration form signed and verified by Tahasildar if the students family income is below Rs. 11,000/-per annum

·                 SC/ST/BT Certificate from Tahasildar / Revenue officer

·                 The right of admission to any courses of the college is the prerogative of the management.

·                 Fees once paid will not be refunded
