Bharati Vidyapeeth University Law Entrance Exam-2015
Bharati Vidyapeeth university has announced entrance exam for the admission of various Law courses for the year 2015. The admission shall be made on the basis of Merit subject to intake capacity.

Eligibility Criteria:
The Candidates who have passed LL.B Three / Five Years Degree course from any Indian / Foreign University recognized by UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade ( 45% for SC / ST Candidates ) are eligible to appear for Combine PG Law Entrance Test. ( Candidates who have appeared for the final year LL.B examination may also apply for the Entrance Test. )
The candidate who has passed the Combined All India PG Law Entrance Test, 2015 will be admitted to LL.M One Year / Two Year Post Graduate Program at Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College in the order of merit secured by him subject to intake capacity.
The candidate shall secure minimum 50% marks in Combined All India PG Law Entrance Test 2015 to pass the entrance examination. The last date for registration is 13th July, 2015
Exam Pattern:
The Combined All India PG Law Entrance Test shall be of total 200 marks it will consist of :
LL.M. Entrance Test Paper ( 140 Marks )
Group Discussion ( 60 marks )
The LL.M Entrance Test Paper will be of 140 marks.
The question paper will consist of 140 multiple choice questions.
There is no negative marking

In addition, the candidates should keep themselves updated with current affairs, Knowledge of basic English is also necessary.
Group Discussion Round:
In addition to the Entrance Test the Candidates must also appear for the Group Discussion Round which shall carry 60 Marks. It will be on Research Methodology and Fundamentals of Law.
Admission Process:
The result of will be on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the LL.M. Entrance Test Paper as well as Group Discussion. 70% Weightage will be given to the performance of the candidates in the LL.M. Entrance Test Paper & 30% to his / her performance in Group Discussion.
The candidates who have qualified the Combined All India PG Law Entrance Test 2015 shall attend the counseling for admission ( subject to his merit and seats available ) at New law College, Pune on 31st July, 2015.
He / She shall confirm his / her admission by paying the total fees prescribed for the program on the date of counseling. Subsequent claim for admission will not be entertained after the date of counseling.
The admission secured by the candidate shall remain provisional till he / she clears the eligibility requirements prescribed by the University and Bar Council of India.
In case of non fulfillment of eligibility the provisional admission can be cancelled at any stage without giving any notice to the candidate.
Counseling Programme:
Admission for One Year / Two Year Post Graduate Program shall be made on the basis of merit secured by the candidate at Combined All India PG Law Entrance Test, 2015.
The candidates who have qualified at the Combined All India PG Law Entrance Test, 2015 are eligible and can attend the counseling on 31st July, 2015 ( Wednesday ) from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
The students shall confirm their admission by paying the total fees on the date of Counseling.
The fee can be paid through Cash / D.D. in favor of Principal, New Law College, Pune drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Pune.
The eligible candidates shall see the website for details of counseling. Counseling letter will not be dispatched by the office. It shall be responsibility of the qualified candidate to attend the counseling on the scheduled date.
The candidate who has qualified the test by securing 50% of marks in entrance examination can attend counseling on 31st July 2015. Admission will be made on merit subject to intake capacity.
The eligible candidate will lose his / her claim for admission after 31st July 2015 for admission in LL.M One Year / Two Year Post Graduate Program for academic year 2015.
The admission shall remain provisional unless the candidate clears his / her eligibility requirements of the University. Provisional admission can be cancelled at any stage, if found not eligible without any notice to the concerned candidate.
Documents to be submitted on Counseling:
Proof of date of Birth : SSC Certificate or School / College Leaving Certificate
Statement of marks of Degree examination
Caste Certificate in case of S.C. & S.T. students only
Transfer Certificate from the Institution studied last.
Migration Certificate from the University.
Gap Certificate ( If any Gap in learning ).
Four recent passport-size photographs with name written on the backside.

Merit List:
The Merit list of candidates who have appeared for Combined All India PG Law Entrance Test, 2015 for admission in LL.M One Year / Two Year Post Graduate Program for the academic year 2015 shall be displayed in accordance with the marks obtained by them in LL.M. entrance test paper as well as their performance in the group discussion round.
The merit list will be made available for information at the offices of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University in Pune, Mumbai & Delhi. It will also be displayed on the website of the University:

Application Fees to be paid in Cash / Demand Draft in favor of Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune
The Examination fee can be paid in cash at the admission counter or through Demand Draft in favor of the Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, on any Nationalized bank payable at Pune.
The original Demand Draft shall be enclosed with the application form. The Demand Draft number and the name of the bank shall be entered in the application form.
The attested Xerox copy of the qualified examination may be enclosed with the Application form ( except for those candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination & whose results are awaited. )
