Bengal Engineering and Science University ( BESU )  Admission notification 2014

Admission to AICTE approved 2 year fulltime MBA Course for the session 2014-16.

Courses offered by BESU :

MBA ( Master of Business Administration )

Duration:

2 year Full-time course approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. ( AICTE )

( MBA degree is awarded by Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur. )

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with honors or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any AIU recognized University. Candidates appearing for the final year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent examination and those who are awaiting results can also apply. They must produce a certificate from the head of the Institution in this regard.

Selection Procedure for BESU : 

The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their academic and CAT / MAT scores.

The short listed candidates will have to appear for GD and PI. 50% weightage will be given on their academic background and 50% on performance in GD and PI.

Relaxation: For SC / ST candidates, the marks criteria will be minimum 40% for Honors and equivalent Bachelor’s Degree.

No. of Seats: Total 60 ( Intake of students is subject to change ). SC / ST quota as per Government. Rules

Mode of Payment ( Fees Structure ) :

Rs. 35,000.00 payable by demand draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Bengal Engineering & Science  University, Shibpur” payable at Kolkata.

Documents are to be enclosed along with application form:

1. Age proof certificate ( attested copy )

2. Mark sheets and certificates from Madhyamik and equivalent onwards (attested copy)

3. MAT / CAT / XAT Score Card ( attested copy )

4. SC / ST / OBC Certificate ( if applicable )

5. A demand draft of Rs 1000/- drawn in favour of “The

Registrar, Bengal Engineering & Science University, Shibpur” payable at Kolkata ( For downloaded applications only)  ( Rs 500 /- for SC / ST / PH )

6. Incomplete / forms without necessary documents / forms with false documents will be summarily rejected

1 Cash or Demand Draft of Rs 35000.

4. Blood Group Certificate ( Original )

5. Stamp-size photo – 3 copies

Last Date of Submission of filled-in-forms: 14.03.2014

Names of Short-Listed candidates for GD & PI will be displayed on notice-board: 17.03.2014

Group Discussion & Personal interview: 19.03.2014 & 21.03.2014

Final List of selected candidates to be put up at SOMS notice board and BESU Website: 25.03.2014
