All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AIIPMR) invite applications for admission in Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (B.P.O). Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics (M.P.O), Master pf Occupational Therapy (M.O.Th) and Master of Physiotherapy (M.P.Th) for the academic session 2013-14.

All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation(AIIPMR) was established in the year 1955. The institute runs under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The institute aims to provide medical rehabilitation services to persons with Locomotor disability from different parts of the country. The institute offers several Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma and Certificate Courses with affiliation to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences(MUHS) Nashik, National Board Examinations, New Delhi and SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai.

Fee Structure for All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AIIPMR):
Admission Fee: Rs 300 per year
Tuition Fee:Rs. 7500 per year
Eligibility Criteria For Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics (B.P.O.) :
Candidates must have passed class
XII/ 10 +2 examination or equivalent from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary
and Higher Secondary Education or any other recognized board with English,
Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics. And should have obtained minimum
of 40 % Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics.
Candidate must have attained 17 years of age i.e candidate should be born on or before 31st December, 1996.
Eligibility Criteria For Master of Prosthetics & Orthotics (M.P.O.) :
Candidate must have obtained Bachelor’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (P&O) from an institute recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India.
Candidate should have completed compulsory six months Internship on or before 31st July, 2013.
Eligibility Criteria For Master of Physiotherapy (MPTh) :
Candidate should hold Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University.
Candidate should have completed compulsory internship of six month duration.
Eligibility Criteria For Master of Occupational Therapy (MOTh)
Candidate should hold Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University.
Candidate should have completed compulsory internship of six month duration.

By Registered post:
Send application form and prospectus fee of Rs.150 in form of demand draft drawn in favor of "Director, AIIPMR’ Payable at Mumbai" at the institute's address. The demand draft should be enclosed in a self addressed envelope of size 30cms. x 25 cms (A4 size) affixing postage stamp of Rs. 80 via speed post . Envelope should be Superscribed as "Application for (name of the course)"
Download the application form from official website of All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The downloaded form should be accompanied by processing fee of Rs. 500 at the time of submission.
