Eligibility Criteria for SUIIT Competitive  Entrance Examination - 2015: SUIIT has conducted Competitive  Entrance Examination for the admission of B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / MSC / Lateral entry Courses during the academic year 2015-16.

For B. TECH ( CSE, ECE and EEE )

Educational Qualification :

The candidate should have secured at least 45% in aggregate in 12th Standard / +2 Science with subjects Physics and Mathematics having JEE Main / OJEE – 2015 result / score

Candidate not-appeared JEE Main / OJEE – 2015, should have secured 50% of mark in aggregate in 12th Standard / +2 Science with subjects Physics and Mathematics

For Lateral Entry B. Tech Programmes

Educational Qualification :

Pass in 3 years Diploma course in Engineering with at least 60% ( 55% in case of candidate belonging to SC / ST category ) marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training ( SCTE & VT ), Odisha or equivalent.

For M. Sc. Bioinformatics

Educational Qualification :

Any Science / Engineering / Medical or Allied Science Graduate passed as a regular student securing at least 45% marks.

For M. Sc. Electronics

Educational Qualification :

B.Sc. Hons. in Physics / Electronics/Computer Science with Physics / Mathematics /Statistics / Electronics / Chemistry / Computer Science as Pass subject.

B. Sc. in Electronics / Information Technology / B. E., B. Tech. in Electronics / Information Technology / Electrical Engg. and Allied subjects with 45% marks in aggregate

Pass Science Graduate with at least 45% marks in aggregate and having any two subjects mentioned.

For M. Sc. Computer Science

Educational Qualification :

Either B. Sc. Honours in Computer Sc., Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Statistics or Information Technology and aggregate 50%

B.Sc. ( PASS ) with having one of the following subject as core - Computer Sc., Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Statistics or Information Technology and having Mathematics at +2 level and aggregate 50%

BCA with 50% and having Mathematics at +2 level and 50% having one of the following subject as core - Computer Sc., Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Statistics or Information Technology

B. E / B. Tech in any discipline with 50% in aggregate

For MCA Courses

Educational Qualification :

Either B. Sc. Honours in Computer Sc., Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Statistics or Information Technology and aggregate 50%

B. Sc. ( PASS ) with 50% in aggregate having one of the following subjects as Core- Computer Sc., Mathematics, Physics, electronics, Statistics or Information Technology and having Mathematics at +2 level

BCA with 50% in aggregate having Mathematics at +2 level and having one of the Computer Sc., Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Statistics or Information Technology subjects as Core

BCA with 50% in aggregate without having Mathematics at +2 level but Mathematics at BCA level. ( However, candidates are required to complete the deficiency courses in Mathematics of +2level during 1st semester of MCA along with other papers for promotion to the 2nd year failing which the candidate will forfeit the seat from MCA.)

B. E. / B. Tech in any discipline with 50% in aggregate

For M. Tech. Computer Science And Engineering

Educational Qualification :

B. E. / B. Tech in Computer Science and allied subjects with 55% of mark or equivalent

M. Sc. ( Mathematics / Physics / Statistics / Electronics / Computer Sc. / I.T. ) with 55% of mark or equivalent

MCA with 55% of mark and equivalent with Mathematics at +2 Level

For M. Tech. Communication System Engineering :

Educational Qualification :

B. E. / B. Tech in Electronics and allied subjects with 55% of mark or equivalent

M. Sc. ( Electronics / Physics with specialization in Electronics / Computer Sc. / I.T. ) with 55% of marks or equivalent
